It will feature six celebrity contestants competing in a weekly elimination-style tournament in which they play against one another in different classic game show formats reproduced in their original presentation. The featured formats include "The Price is Right", "Beat the Clock", "Press Your Luck", "Card Sharks", "Match Game" and "Family Feud".
Veteran game show director Rich DiPirro will be tasked with executing a new show format for each week's episode and likened the challenge to that of a football coach preparing to face a new team each Sunday. "It will be like coming up with an entirely new playbook for each week's game, and teaching the scheme to all the players in a day." he said. "But, I have 20 years of film study on this, so we will definately be able to create shows that feel fun, exciting and familar."
